There are two ways to retrieve form submissions from GC Forms:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Downloading<\/strong> responses from GC Forms<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Using the GC Forms data retrieval API<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Note: <\/strong>The data delivery option to receive responses by email was phased out on June 11, 2025. However, you can now opt in to getting email notifications when new responses are available in Settings.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

    1. Downloading responses from GC Forms<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    GC Forms can hold and store form responses submitted by people who fill out forms, however only temporarily, as departments and agencies have ultimate custody and control of their forms\u2019 data. As such, when the form response delivery option is set to \u201cDownload responses from GC Forms\u201d, responses must be retrieved from GC Forms within 45 days of receiving a submission. This response delivery method also allows for multiple account holders to access responses, and offers multiple response format options (HTML, CSV, JSON).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    To download form responses:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    1. Sign in to GC Forms<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. In Forms<\/a>, go to the form for which you want to get responses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Select \u201cResponses page\u201d. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. If responses have been submitted, they will appear in the “New” tab. \n
