Calling All Retired HR Experts!
Are you a retired (or soon-to-be retiring) human resources (HR) professional from the federal public service? Reconnect with your passion for people management and enrich the HR community with your wealth of knowledge and experience!
Managed by the HR Council (HRC), hiring managers from across the public service will have access to a new inventory of former experienced HR professionals who are seeking various short-term roles.
What’s in it for you?
- Stay engaged with a vibrant professional community and inspire the next generation of HR professionals.
- Enjoy the flexibility and variety that short-term roles offer, such as coaching or mentoring junior employees, managing special HR projects, providing subject matter expertise, facilitating training and/or undertaking HR administration.
- Embrace the convenience of completing only one questionnaire to be connected with hiring organizations across the HR Community. The HR Council takes care of promoting your profile by leveraging our extensive connections and various platforms.
How it works:
- Create your profile: share your expertise, preferences and availability.
- Be connected with organizations: each profile will be assigned a reference number and displayed anonymously in the published inventory on the Council’s GC webpages. A hiring manager will submit a referral request to the HRC to receive your contact information if your profile is a good match for their opportunity.
- Make an impact: help support current and future leaders in HR and delve into files where your experience is valued.
