Join us on August 13th for a virtual networking event from 4:00 – 5:00 PM EST on the Zoom Events platform! Anyone can join who is registered for the Departmental Showcase Series
Being a federal public servant means you have 300k colleagues. The public service is a career map with multiple destinations and you can follow opportunities without terminating your employment. You should never feel stuck in one job, one team, under one branch, or in one department.
By showcasing a sampling of departments, the Federal Youth Network and its partners will guide you on your public service journey.
Join us virtually to hear about cool jobs, common role responsibilities, and bust misconceptions from future leaders in their departments.

Career Boot Camp 2025
Since 2011, the Federal Youth Network (FYN) has annually hosted Career Boot Camp (CBC), a learning series offering workshops, group discussions, mentoring sessions and kiosks for new and young public servants navigating their public service careers. In 2019, CBC held 15 events in 14 cities across Canada with over 2,000 learners. Since 2021, CBC is 100% virtual! From coast-to-coast-to-coast, public servants have access to this conference-style series of incredible presentations and workshops.
The CBC will give you the tools you need to take charge of your career. Don’t miss out!
We are extremely excited for CBC 2025. We hope you are too!
Stayed tuned for registration.
