Management Competencies in the Hybrid Workplace Offered in partnership with the Canada School of Public Services’ Hybrid Workplace Series, this event features the research of Dr. Wayne Corneil, a specialist in the area of hybrid work. Dr. Corneil will share his expert insights on the key principles needed to lead teams in hybrid work environments. Managers and aspiring managers will learn about the competencies needed to thrive in a hybrid workplace and gain an understanding of what they need to set up their teams, and themselves, for success. The Hybrid Workplace Series: Best Practices for Managers Offered in partnership with the Canada School of Public Services’ Hybrid Workplace Series, this event will explore best practices for managing hybrid teams in the workplace and share inspirational tips for success. This event is a follow-up discussion to Dr. Wayne Corneil’s presentation, Management Competencies in the Hybrid Workplace. How to Handle Microaggressions in the Workplace with Camille Dundas As emphasized by the Call to Action on Anti-Racism, Equity, and Inclusion in the Federal Public Service, managers need to be equipped to address issues of racism, discrimination and other barriers to inclusion in the workplace. This impactful event features Camille Dundas, editor-in-chief of Canada’s largest black online magazine ByBlacks.com, keynote speaker and racial equity consultant, who will talk about the competencies for inclusivity and how to handle microaggressions. Participants will gain a better understanding of where microaggressions come from, how to recognize when they are happening, how to speak up when we observe one, how to cope when we experience one and lastly, how to respond when we have committed one. This session is presented in partnership with the Diversity and Inclusion Conference of the Canada School of Public Service.
