Peer Coaching Circle Taster – Tackling Real Issues Together

The National Managers Community and the Ontario Leadership Network of the Ontario Public Service invite you to this interactive event.

Join us for a one-hour presentation demonstrating the power of Peer Coaching Circles. Our trainers – Ian and Karen, will walk you through a real-life problem solving session.

We have designed this session for those of you who would like to see this tool in action. It encompasses adult learning principles of learning by doing, relevance and practice.

This process is a unique and safe space allowing peers to come together to learn and practice a coaching approach, while tackling real issues. Peers are able to present a challenge or issue they are facing, receive coaching from their peers, to explore ways and approaches to generate practical actions and next steps. In these times of working in a hybrid environment (and often on our own), this tool enhances peer relationships, sharing of experiences and being able to leverage and tap-into a variety of perspectives and approaches.

Speaker’s Bio

Ian White

Ian White,
Life Fulfillment Coach, President
Coaching Deconstructed Inc.

I help people to make the shifts necessary to lead more satisfying and fulfilling lives. I chose this line of work after spending 14 years in a career that was based on limiting beliefs, safety, security, and my education. And it wasn’t until I quit that job to pursue my passion for coaching that I found a satisfying and fulfilling way to live. Coaching is in my blood and is the life force behind all that I do. One of the reasons I love coaching is because it trusts that we all have the answers inside of ourselves, no matter how big the problem. This is why I am so excited to be teaching coaching practices that serve everyday people, to help others, to find their own answers, all while improving their conversation and leadership skills.

My coaching development is rooted in living my practice in real life as a manager, colleague, mom, wife and friend.   What I know for sure is practice makes permanent.
